street fashion: rock that revolution. oh shit. i’m late.

so sometime last week i trucked down to caprice to attend Rock Revolution. i ran into fantastic shallom from stylefinds and fabulous kris krug, who were also documenting all of the awesomeness that was present that night.
i managed to find a few outfits that flitted my style meter. mostly i was wowed by the expressions of the runway models and the amazingness that were the collections of the local designers. i managed to grab a few shots out of kk+’s collection.
on to the photos. less talking and more standing and looking fabulous.

this lovely lady is the words, wisdom and wicked videos from NextDoorStyle. i caught her the moment she walked to the front of the line. i first met her at the Vancouver fashion meet-up where i got interviewed for her video blog. ps: she is giving me her shoes. ::epic score:: pps. THANK YOU. YOU ROCK.
points of interest: the simple black dress that isn’t that simple, the subtle.effect of the matching hat and tights And shoes, the amazing gladiator shoes that could kick my ass, holy tights to the max

this lovely lady also writes for StyleFinds. we chatted amongst all the hipsternistas. and i took her photo.
you know. that’s what i do. awkwardly. but i do it nonetheless.
points of interest: yummy subtle peek-a-boo sweater, the mini-belt, the front gathering skirt, the t-strap shoes that literally tapped right into my heart

i noticed this outfit the second i walked in the door of Rock Revolution. shame it took me like 20 minutes to ask her for a photo. i am so not a *fan* of blue but sometimes. just sometimes. i slip. and love it alittle.
points of interest: the little belt hung low on the hips, white kitty heels, shiny shiny shiny blue shiny polka-dot open shoulder shirt, fashionista bling. loves it

this lovely lad didn’t really say much when i stepped up to him on his outfit. i don’t know if he really understood why i wanted to even take his photo. i think ultimately it was part of his charm.
points of interest: the leather jacket that i remember from 1993, the oversize eyeglasses that seemingly look unreal, hello fuschia pink shirt hello

these two were introduced to me on a whim of being totally awesome. and they were. we talked about burlesque and Agent Provocateur. two things i love dearly. ladies. ladies. ladies. i’m a sucker.
points of interest: meow.meow.kitty eyeglasses, mmm leather/pleather/skirt jacket combo, the chest clearly in the ripped shirt, rocking the hanky head wrap, oh black converse how i love thee

this band played two sets at Rock Revolution. The Tito Deville Band. son, they had a ton of energy and kept us grooving all night long.
i managed to snag some photos from kris krug‘s official collection of the runway fashion part of Rock Revolution. enjoy the epicness.
